Hi Cloud919. Welcome to Psych Central. I am sorry you are in pain with gall bladder. Hope you get some medical relief soon.

Since we are all peers and only you know what your body is saying to you, I can only recommend you try googling the questions you have and choose carefully reliable sources. You may find this video of interest. Mindfulness and Chronic Pain

Also check under gallbladder, gallstones, etc: WebMD, Mayo Clinic, and Wikipedia (grain of salt on wiki because some articles need editing-can still be very helpful). A friend of mine has pain in her digestive track. They havent done all the tests yet and the digestive track has a lot of components and is fairly complex. Often in healthcare, pain originating in one area of the body is felt in a different area.
Any chronic pain is increased by stressful situations such as the one we are all facing now w covid. Thanks so much to PsychCentral for being such a strong source for techniques for dealing with stress.
I had chronic pain in my shoulders the past couple years. I had 3 different doctors working on the source recently. Spoke to my brother who knows a lot about medicine from his own experience and his work as former head of cancer society. Mainly I have osteoarthritis. I will probably have an arthroscopic procedure/s in a couple of years.
May our minds, bodies, and spirits be at peace. Hugs!

I think some foods are harder on the gallbladder than others, so I suggest you check that out. I'll look to see what I can find out and post it here.

Here you go: Gallbladder Diet: Foods to Eat and Foods to Avoid.

Also, try different pain meds to see if any of them help. I hope they do!

What was the plan of action prior to covid? It would seem to me that you need to have that gallbladder out.
