My back and chest, also upper arms are completely covered in red spots. I think I also have a couple on my head. The ones on my upper back hurt a bit. They don’t really itch. They have been there for a week or so but have just gotten more intense today. I’m not feeling the greatest tonight then again I haven’t been feeling great for awhile. Physically or mentally.
Any idea what they could be? __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

Hi, Mountaindewed, could it be a skin rash, from stress, or heat, or even an allergy?

Possibly a medication side-effect? I don't know. I think the best thing would be to have this checked out by a medical professional. A GP may well refer you to a dermatologist.
At one point I was put on Lamictal. A few weeks later I developed a rash. (I knew nothing of Lamictal Rash.) My GP recognized what was going on & sent me upstairs to a dermatologist right away. She called my pdoc & they took me off the Lamictal immediately. There was another medication I was put on at one point several years prior to the Lamictal incident. The name of that medication also started with an "L". (I don't recall what the actual name was.) But shortly after I began taking that I developed little red pin-prick type dots all over my calves. So I was taken off of that med too. After having those two incidents I joked that I couldn't take any medication that started with the letter "L". Hope you're able to resolve this asap. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go." I believe shingles would be extremely painful. With measles, you would have other symptoms besides a rash. I have had a red rash appear on my upper body from a new medication.

Consult your doctor if your symptoms persist for more than one to two weeks. They can make a diagnosis and prescribe medication.
