I was told by a nurse today to start drinking Ensure to give me more energy because I've been throwing up a lot and just lacking physical energy in general.

Will it work?

I've thought of it before but the 350 calories per bottle turned me off before. But maybe one for breakfast wouldn't that bad.

I think it claims to boost energy, probably because it’s got added vitamins and minerals, if you’ve been unable to get those through a varied diet then that would hopefully redress that.

There’s three different kinds. The regular is 250 calories the protein is 150 calories and the plus is the only one with 350 calories.

It does seem to increase my energy. I got 2 Walmart brands in chocolate and vanilla and then the name brand kind in strawberry. All 220 calories. I had one for breakfast and I had more energy to get stuff done today despite still not feeling 100%.
