It is true, I believe, that various mental illness diagnoses share traits. So, from that perspective, I think it is probably inevitable that one would be able to see aspects of oneself in various diagnoses. For quite a few years now I have thought there was a time, when I was younger, I might have been diagnosed as having BPD. But I never have been, although I probably still have a number of BPD characteristics. Hopefully, at some point, you will be able to see a mental health professional who will be able to help you clarify what your diagnosis might be.
