During my stay at Sheppard Pratt Hospital the Staff had no clue what I came in for (ie. insomnia) and half the staff asked me if I was getting ECT. I was appalled! The head nurse talked to people with serious problems like they did something wrong. I couldn't believe it. The Dr. was irate that I had insomnia on my mind all the time (I've only had it for 5 long months). I'm not going back there again.

I've heard a lot of horror stories about psych hospitals. Seems like it's hard to find a good one.

I am sorry; I can see what would have gone wrong... psych hospitals shouldn't be bad, but when they are....
