Does anyone have any experience with inpatient treatment for depression/anxiety? I am based in the UK so am specifically interested in UK experience.

Yeah I was admitted to hospital earlier this year. At first I went to a posh private hospital because they were the only place with a bed available. I was there on the NHS and it was quite nice there, we did therapy every day apart from weekends. Overall a good experience there. Eventually I was moved to a public one because it was back in Birmingham (my home city) and the first one was by London. The public one if I'm being honest wasn't so great, there were no therapy sessions and there were people screaming all the time and attacking each other but the public one wasn't just aimed at anxiety and depression it was for every mental illness. I doubt they're all bad though. If you have any questions I don't mind answering them.
