I am crying because I had to walk out of the pharmacy without me or my husbands meds!

My husband was on Medicaid and he was just a awarded SSI so soon he should get Medicaid just for that but last month they sent him a letter saying his Medicaid would be cut due to immigration status! My husband has a Green Card and I thought that was well established! So we went to human services and they copied his card and I thought that was the end of that until later they sent an identical letter again in the mail! Did some new law pass saying us permanent residents cannot get Medicaid?

For me I'm transitioning still from Medicaid to Medicaid/Medicare duel eligible. I enrolled in a plan that is supposed to cover my meds, but I found out it doesn't come into rleffect until next month. In September I have no medication coverage at all.

What do I do if I can't get both of our meds?

Can you tell the prescriber that you are having issues with getting the medications? They may have a way to work around this.
