And it wasn't my plan. No I'm screwed. This ruins my life. I see my case manager Monday thank God, maybe she can fight it for me.

If youre on disability, and youve been working, then you were supposed to be reporting your earnings anyway. Did they just get reported now because of your application for housing? Cuz otherwise i dont see what difference it makes. You would still have to reach a certain level of income before they took you off disability via ticket to work. And that is your ultimate goal, isnt it? To buy a house?

I have been reporting every month. My case manager was actually doing it, the month i did it they put me on ticket to work. Think i went over because i got paid a day early putting me in a different month.

My goal is to buy a house that is why this ruins my plans. I'll lose disability, but my best friend suggested reducing hours, I already take a pay reduction because of trying to stick in their parameters. I'll see if the case manager agrees with her advice. They already kind of have reduced the hours. But to me that's a good solution except financially it will be harder.

They sent me info on ticket to work as soon as i went on disability. Did they start doing something more than that, like sending you a countdown of months?

Yes I got a letter Saturday saying I was started on the ticket to work program and will be on it until October. I can appeal. I'm allowed to earn any amount but if it's less than 880 I believe it says I will remain on disability. If I earn under 1200 a month I will remain on disability for up to 36 months after Oct 2019. But I wanted to buy a house, buy a car, those are long term investments. I rely on my SSD income, I've already learned I cannot handle the stress of full-time employment, or the stress of real estate. I'm at an empass. Damned if I do and damned if I don't.

I wonder if this is an unforeseen consequence of applying for housing assistance? The government gets into your business. If its not the government, then its your family all up in it. Can you cancel the housing assistance and go back to the way things were?

I found out today it's a review. Things should be fine.
