I got a part-time teaching job paying 34 dollars an hour. I am also thinking about going to nursing school and become a nurse-midwife. I am going to talk to the academic advisor at the nursing school of my choice and see what happens. I am doing well again and know if I set my heart on being healthy and being stable, I can do it!!

I am doing well. This part-time job may lead to a full-time schedule. However, there are no benefits. I feel lucky to have found a job though. I will be leaving my current situation soon to go work. I need to remain stable and will remind myself to receive my monthly shots. I feel stable for now. I wanted to thank all those who wrote on my thread! I also wanted to remind myself that I’ve come a long way in a short time. I will try to do this job for a year or two. Then, I will decide to return to school.

I am still doing well and thinking about becoming a real estate agent here. I will do this in about two years though. I really like my current job. I enjoy teaching and like my students. I have to keep this job until I change jobs. I might do both real estate and teaching if possible. I can't work full-time so whatever I can do is fine with me. I am happy! I can't believe two years ago I was doing really badly. But, such is life!!

I have never received SSI or SSDI because my psychdoc in the USA discouraged me from doing so. I don't mind. I am trying the best I can do get by with what I have. I am motivated to work. I think his advice was ok. I just wonder if he would have said the same thing if I had no family, probably not. Thus, I am grateful to my family although they are dysfunctional. I am back on my feet and doing well because of their help. I don't know how the real estate business is here until I work as an agent. I think it depends on what property you are selling but don't know for sure. I will find out as soon as I work in real estate. I like my current job so I will keep it as long as I can.
