Hello, hopefully this is the right section for this topic. I was just wondering if getting my GED could possibly affect or make me lose my disability by any chance.
The main reason behind this idea is I started receiving my SSI I'm pretty sure mostly due to my epilepsy and physical problems, but also partly due to my mental health issues too; so I just sometimes wonder if I were to get my GED, if it might make it seem like my mental health issues improved, and improved enough to have a steady job, possibly resulting making me lose my SSI. __________________ |

No, getting a GED will have no effect on your SSI
