Being a MTF in transition I’m having a hard time finding people to talk to and get help with getting fully into things. I have no support really from my family and I don’t really have any friends in my area. I’m at a crossroad right now where I want to go full in on my transition but don’t have anyone to talk to or get help from. It’s just frustrating.

I'm not the person(s) you're looking for. I'm just an old geezer. But I understand what you're talking about here. I've had my own life-long struggle with gender dysphoria. And I've almost never had anyone I could talk to or get help from. I did see a therapist for a short while who had experience working with transgender folks. And that was helpful. It was such a relief just to have someone I could talk to about things I had never spoken of to anyone. I take it there must not be any LGBTQ organizations in your area you can join since you're looking for supportive people on-line?

A few years ago there was kind-of a small community of MtF individuals on YouTube who were uploading videos documenting their transitions. And I came to know some of them & enjoyed watching their videos & communicating back-& forth. That was helpful too. Unfortunately, at least as far as I can tell, that all seems to be gone now for the most part. Individuals who are transitioning still upload videos occasionally. But there doesn't seem to be much in the way of a "community" anymore.

I don't know how likely it is you'll find people, here on PC, who are doing what you're doing. At least as far as I've been able to discern there don't seem to be a lot of transgender folks here on PC; or if there are it's perhaps not something they want to talk about here. There are a couple of transgender-specific websites. I would presume you may be aware of them. But perhaps not. One is TransPulse. I'm not a member. But I've heard good things about it. The other is Susan's Place. I'm not a member there either although I do some reading there occasionally. (Sadly I have the impression Susan's Place is in trouble financially & may not continue to be around long if things don't turn around.) Susan's Place seems to be populated, to a large extent, by older trans folks. Anyway... here are links to those websites just in case you're not already familiar:
