Inappropriate Content

This is, first and foremost, a self-help support community. That means if your post isn't about offering support to another person or asking for it, it's potentially not appropriate for the forums. Specifically prohibited from the forums:

 • Advertisements of any sort
 • Announcements of one's own Web site, new resource, or book
 • Announcements for research projects
 • Flames or messages meant to intimidate or harass others
 • Threatening or profane messages
 • Messages discussing a private message (PM) from others, including all administrative issues
 • Messages containing suicidal threats or suicidal actions
 • Messages containing or condoning illegal acts
 • Limit your direct discussion of politics and religion, as people usually hold pretty strong opinions about these topics
 • Anything that violates the Terms of Use for this site

When in doubt about appropriate content, contact any moderator before posting questionable material.

Our Forums are Research-Free

We prohibit any non-naturalistic research being conducted on the forums. At no time shall members' individual posts be quoted or used in the write-up of any research. You are welcomed to help other members research topics and provide research that is potentially helpful to others.

Please Note: New members' posts are moderated to help reduce spam in our forums. That means your new post won't show up until reviewed by a moderator (usually within 24 hours).

Please understand that we do allow search engines to index our community, so please choose your username and post personal details carefully. To keep community continuity, we allow only limited deletion of posts made by members.
