Is there anyone here who has been diagnosed with this or has done a lot of reading up on it and can point out the traits of this condition?
I ran across this a few months ago while researching something else and a lot of what I found out sounds to me like at the very least that I may have many of the traits associated with this condition.
Also, I am very self absorbed and pretty much have been all of my life.
Fighting it is pointless and futile in my experience as it does not let up even for a minute. As much as I struggle to be a carrying person who is also able to read emotion very well at end of it all it always comes back to me. All about me all of the time. Me, me, me.
As a child other kids told me that I was conceited.
I had a parent who often behaved this way as well and who also seemed to have an intense level of pride and vanity.
I too am like this. I am also passive aggressive, sneaky as a fox and at times can be as subtle as a serpent when I feel it is to my advantage or I just want to play with somebody.
I have a lot of the other usual traits too like the weaknesses and such.
What I want to know are what all of the traits are and if anyone else here has a good level of knowledge about this disorder or even has it themselves.
