Not all mental illnesses have the same symptoms. Not everyone experiences the same intensity of symptoms. I would never say never.

Yeah I tried it but it's very US focussed and hardly anyone I could find near me in the UK (eg just now did a search by locality and it came up with one person, who hasn't logged in for 3 years and appears to be in a relationship anyway)

Well that is probably not true. It's proven that people with mental Illness are attracted to others with mental illlnesses, and those without mental illnesses are less attracted to those with.

May I ask where you've heard that? I was talking about this with a friend the other day and I think it's an interesting topic.

I am a psych nurse so I have done a lot of reading on it. I so have a formal diagnosis of BPD with NPD traits so I cannot tell you enough the length of study I do is extensive. Not only for my own good, but for that of my patients and the people I seek to help.

From what I can gather, it has to do with seeing echoes of yourself in your mate. Also, people with MH disorders get easily bored with normies and would likely either sabotage or leave that kind of unbalanced relationship.
