Hi everyone, it turns out I might have OCDPD, I have many OCD traits, but it isn't strong enough to fully be considered OCD, as I don't have the compulsions as much of the obsessions and guilt from my thoughts, considering how small this subforum is, I plan to keep my posts about my personal OCDPD problems and solutions in this thread. I hope you have a great day!

First log: I'm getting those urges to put things in order and having those guilt obsessive thoughts. I'll try my best to resist them, I've also been having struggles with my anxiety and depression, and my social anxiety has been worse lately. Hoping this changes in time.

OCD is different from OCPD. Which is your diagnosis?

Thanks for the reply! According to health professionals, I have both OCD and OCPD.

Hi, thank you for replying, it's a personality disorder that has to do with perfectionism, order, etc, some of the people who have this disorder are workaholics as well, while OCD and OCPD are two different disorders, it is possible for one to have them both.

I am OCPD. We are into rules ( although I am not into this), Orderliness, and Control.

I hold my self up to high standards. I am a neat freak. I take charge of things. I can be bossy. I am a perfectionist. I am on time. I am into clothes and accessories and outfits.

We can also be hoarders.( Which I have in a small way.)

Thank you so much for the explanation and link you put, for future posts in this thread, I will post about my perfectionist and OCPD-like behaviors, and the guilt and apprehension to the OCD forum. Hope you have a fantastic week!
