My OCD is largely in remission. It involved a variety of things including checking that doors were locked, over-washing, rubbing corners just to be sure everything was safe, and counting rituals.

I’m glad yours is in remission. Mine has been manageable for a few years but is worse lately due to severe anxiety & stress. I think it’s trauma related as it has to do with safety issues relating to my cat.

I check the faucets and the stove. It used to be worse. I got some therapy for it but when I am really anxious I tend to do it more.

Exposure therapy was the biggest help for me.
