Hi all, I have a type of OCD called ROCD. It gives me bad thoughts about my relationship with my boyfriend. I would have bad thoughts about wanting to meet to guys and go out dating again and the thoughts would upset me and scare me. They’d make me think that I shouldn’t be with my boyfriend anymore and I’d be upset. Well today that didn’t happen, I had thoughts about being single and dating again and the thought didn’t bother me or upset me like last time. Now I’m thinking does this mean my thoughts are a reflection of how I feel. So now I’m nervous. Can anyone assist me with dilemma.

I'm sorry I don't think I can really be of help with this. But I noticed no one had yet replied to your post. So I thought I would. Here are links to some articles, from PC's archives, on the subject of ROCD:
Relationship OCD Relationship OCD and the Doors of Uncertainty When OCD Targets Your Relationship May they be of benefit. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go."
