So, for as long as I can remember I have been dealing with relationship OCD depression and anxiety and my relationship OCD has ruined all my relationships and I am now in another relationship and I KNOW I love this guy with every fiber of my being but the OCD is constantly putting me in a panic trying to convince me to break up with them for it and I know I don't want to and I want to fight to keep my relationship. I just hope I can find some way to combat these compulsive thoughts and anxiety I cry several times a day from feeling a constant panic and I just really need support.

Hello neolife: Welcome to Psych Central. One additional forum, here on PC, that may be of interest to you would be the relationships forum. Here's a link:

https://psychcentralforums.com/relat...communication/

And then here are links to 4 articles from Psych Central's archives. The first is an article on OCD by our host Dr. John Grohol, Psy.D. The remaining 3 focus on relationship OCD in particular:

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) | Psych Central

Relationship OCD

Relationship OCD and the Doors of Uncertainty

When OCD Targets Your Relationship

I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

How is your OCD affecting your relationship?
For me, personally, my OCD always made me fear to lose what I love the most. Especially when in a relationship, it often made me hold my love for that person against me.

Especially combined with my relationship trauma, it constantly put the thoughts in my head that I'd lose that person, or they would turn out to be like my previous partner.
It gave me literal stomachaches, and I did feel like maybe I should just break up to escape it. But I could've never gone through with it, because I loved my partner too much.

I'm not sure if you're feeling similarly, but I feel like I can relate.
I hope things get better for you.
