I have been suffering from intrusive thoughts for 8 years and I have severe POCD. I have been talking to my ex again and we seemed to be hitting it off. However, she played with my emotions and I feel used. I have lost my self worth and confidence because of this and my intrusive thoughts have gotten worse since. I am trying to rebound but every time I try to forget her the intrusive thoughts completely take over. It doesn’t allow me to rebuild myself or allow any form of happiness and it’s becoming unbearable. I have also been experiencing suicidal thoughts and I am tired of the self loathing. How do people with OCD cope with something with this kind of power dynamic? I just want to move on and not deal with this anymore.
