On vacation to Arizona and my astro chart says it would be a great place for me. Goals and independence will be achieved here, unlike my home state which has many barriers to success and where I will lose my mind the chart said and I have.

I currently have a daughter whose 16, a part time job, and live with my mom. Rent in Arizona is more affordable if I'm working. But figure I I'll have to hold off until my daughter graduates. 2 years. But I don't want to wait too long to restart my life.

My aunt is living down here and she's 83. She could connect me to people and businesses she's lived here since age 30. I've fought invisible forces a lot would like to be somewhere where I achieve my goals and become independent. Thoughts?

My psychologist says that SOMETIMES relocating can make a difference sometimes not. It actually depends on what baggage you take with you whether the change will be successful or not.

Ok.....I made a successful move 2100 miles away from where I lived all my life to a small town where I knew absolutely NO ONE. I didn't have to worry about finding a job because I was on disability. I bought a small farm in the country & started finding myself at 54 for the first time in my life. I had never lived on my own before either & the H I left was sure I would be back as I was dealing with PTSD & anorexia let alone the depression & anxiety I was on disability for.

The change for me pointed out how much my old environment had been a huge part of those conditions I was dealing with. Living alone & being responsible for my dogs made a huge difference in my approach to life.

Church is a huge part of my life & friends & so is my women's horse group & volunteer groups I have become involved with. My life is now full & it feels complete like in never did before.

Some problems followed me & I am still trying to wrap up the marriage assets part of the divorce (I am legally divorced finally)....but what followed me was the H's crap. I found an awesome T also & learned skills that were missing in my life to deal with things. Life came together for me but that was because what was inside of me when I moved was not actually my problem it was the way I was responding to my environment I was no longer surrounded & trapped in that environment & I learned how to handle the residual.

My depression & anxiety & even my anorexia was all situational (PTSD wasn't but being away from where it happened helped too)

Moving & change doesn't guarantee success but it can get rid of some of the things in our life but it is our own responsibility to make sure we control those things we do take with us (personal baggage) & deal with it to make the success more sure.

I grew up in Arizona and still miss it. It is a great place to live if you love the outdoors. Used to hike all of the time there. Would also go horseback riding, bike riding, fishing, skiing, camping, and swim in pools, creeks and lakes. To enjoy it, you need to have a good car because if you live in the desert--you will want to drive to the mountains in the summer but if you live in the mountains, you will want to spend time in the desert in the winter. Love all the sunshine there.

What if your daughter stays in the Midwest? I will probably never move back because I would never want to live that far away from my children.

Horoscope readings are not meant to be followed literally. Follow your intuition, and more importantly what is best for your family.

Moving could be a good thing but you have to have something lined up there like housing etc Don’t move just because your horoscope says that

Grew up in Chicago, then 30 yrs in LA until it got so expensive. Now in Phoenix. Can’t say enough great things about AZ We’re in the west valley. Green fields all over, mountains ring the area.It was bout 70 today, glorious. It is very hot from about May thru October. I mean about 100-115 often. You don’t feel sweaty tho. We have lots of 24 hr Walmart’s so I go very late at night when its hot.
The housing costs are just astonishing and our house has gone up $50,000in one yr, tho things have slowed down.

Where in AZ are you thinking of living? I have been in SE AZ for 12 years and am dying to leave. I’m in a mid-sized City with virtually no medical specialists, 2 Pdocs for a county of 140,000 people.

Phx has all the services I could possibly want, but as I have gotten older I can’t handle thee summer heat even down here in Cochise County. Guess I would have to be a snowbird.

If you feel like moving would be ideal for you, Aviza, then I'd say just go for it! If you can afford it, of course. Just know that it requires a lot of planning to do so, so just be careful. Wish you good luck! Let us know how it goes. Sending many hugs to you

It does require a lot of planning to relocate, unfortunately. That’s what keeps me from just getting in my car one day with a few things and driving away from here. There’s nothing to keep me here, could give up my job and partner with little hesitation.
Aviza, hope you can get where you need to be.

My mom is all like I don't want you to leave I need the money. I applied to a job down here, rent is cheaper. I could transfer my services and/or stay with my aunt short term. If I get the job I'll take it, it has good benefits. My current job has no benefits. But it's a long shot. My mom actually found an ideal house down here, but her house hasn't sold. Plus I think she'd miss my brother. I do have to think about my daughter but I'm sure we could work something out.

That first sentence about says it all. If you can find a better job and have a place to live lined up, perhaps a change from your current living environment could be a positive experience for you? As you wrote, you can sort out visitation details with your daughter as things change. Non custodial parents are not legally bound to stay put.
