Hey guys. I'm posting this cause I'm alone. My mental health has taken a bad knock. I fell asleep last year and woke here.
At least on drugs or liquor it's a fake friend. I was on lots of prescribed drugs now not. I fled then at a mission detox. I've been lucky but now cannot stop crying. It hurts. I thank you PC allowing me do. Express inner most thoughts X __________________ The opposite of a correct statement is a false statement . ((Sanada)), your drinking and drugging was your escape. When a person finally gets sober they have to face a lot and MANY find they were drinking to deal with ptsd unknowingly. You can't even begin to heal until you stop drinking and that's only the very first step, the rest of it is slowly finally facing whatever realities about your life you had tried to escape from by drinking.
Often individuals who go to AA meetings end up finally experiencing others who like them struggle and they gradually FINALLY experience companionship with others who understand the challenge. They must have AA meetings where you live, if so you should consider attending and you don't have to talk right away either, many just go and sit and listen. People from all walks of life can be found in these meetings, it's actually pretty surprising. It ends up where that no longer matters too, as it's all about learning how to live your life one day at a time "sober" and to finally grow as a person. (((Hugs))) You are welcome to share as needed here Sanada. |

Hi Sanada
Congrats for getting clean. That must have been brutal. Now, you need to release all that garbage in your head. Cry your eyes out if it feels like what you need. I'm so glad you came here. It's a great support. __________________ Once you are real, you can't become unreal again. It lasts for always.... |

Hey, there. Yeah, it can be rough. I have 11 years now, but I have to say, my worst day clean and sober is way, way better than my best using.
Do you have a therapist, by chance? Why did you stop your meds? Just curious. I stopped all mine in 2012, but as you can see, that did not exactly work out for me. Wishing you all the best-- __________________ When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot, but I always found them--Rodney Dangerfield |
