It's so easy on ''social media'' ... just block them and delete them and its as if they never existed. This has been done to me more times than I can count. And still I ''trust'' people? I must be freakin insane

I'm sorry that keeps happening to you @Fuzzybear. You're not insane, friend, very very far from it. It's the love in your heart giving you the courage to trust, to let people in, and that's a good thing.

Who these negative spirits are blocking and hurting our ((Fuzzybear))! Come forward! Apologize!

Don't you worry Fuzzy. You're the heart & soul of Forums at Psych Central. I've felt that ever since the day I joined.

There must be 50 ways to dump your friend..

I agree, Fuzzy. I think it's just so easy to push someone away online mainly because it doesn't feel anywhere near as personal as it does in actual life. What I have learned is that it can be just as devastating, though. I'm sorry you're going through this. It doesn't mean it's your fault. I think a lot of times this happens because it's very easy for some to simply have this feeling that the screen is a buffer to the fact that it's a real person with real feelings on the other side of this machine we call the internet. I hope you feel better soon. Sending good and positive vibes your way.

My initial reaction is a true friend wouldn't do that.

Then I remembered I once unfriended someone I liked and cared about. It was bad of me to do. I was confused and not thinking straight. The person I did this to deserved better. She forgave me, we are still friends. I was lucky.

I guess I am saying sometimes there are reasons we don't know about why someone does this. Sometimes forgiveness can be appropriate and a blessing. Not always but sometimes.

Thanks everyone. I guess saying this has happened ''a lot'' of times was an exaggeration. I can understand people ''over reacting'' to a perceived slight on my part. Not that it's something I would do....(''over'' react to someone not getting back to me within a short time span or at all maybe.....some things are triggers..... we do not know everyone's triggers ) But there is no way I can talk to those people now even if I wanted to.

One time someone sent me a message less than one day after the other message they had sent, saying ''I am sorry I bothered you'' and completely blocked me. I was fully intending to get back to ''him''.. Never heard from ''him'' again

I too think that sometimes forgiveness is appropriate and can be a blessing

(not about anyone on pc)

Not ''bad'' paws

much love to all
