I don't think we are supposed to flog any products on here but I hope that this message reaches a few before it is pulled.
I purchased a Muse device and find the potential for it to help with my incredibly debilitating anxiety to be highly positive. Briefly described, the device measures stress related brain waves and generates a sound in response. The more stressed you are the louder the pleasant sound. The calmer you are the softer the sound. The idea of it is to assist the user to reach a meditative state and thereby lessen stress and anxiety. Over time, the user learns to control the stress in order to achieve desired results. Basically then the Muse uses positive reinforcement to learn how to control and cope with stressful thinking. It isn't cheap however. But I am thinking it is going to be worth it. There is a Muse 2 available too which is more directed at the fitness crowd. |

Thanks for this. I've seen Muse advertised and wondered how it works.
