There is nothing wrong with the placebo effect. They have studied the placebo effect and it’s very powerful and promising. But making health claims with no scientific baseline deceives consumers, some of who are vulnerable or even desperate. I’d probably be more comfortable if all supplements and alternative treatments were at least studied by the FDA it order to reign in outlandish claims. JMO.
