I've done a lot of EMDR with sort of mixed results.
I couldn't do it with the moving lights as that made me throw up, So I did it by holding buzzers in my hands and they alternated vibrating for the bilateral stimulation.
I did find it helpful in making some trauma memories less intense, but honestly I'm not sure it delivered the promised level of treatment. I found other forms of trauma therapy to be much more effective but that could also have been just based on where I was at in my own recovery at the time.
