Tonight I just heart the neighbour from the building accross beat his dog.At first I couldn't realise clearly what was going on.I was just hearing noises,a person yelling. When I try to go out and see what was going on my father stop me and said that he saw him beat his dog with a chair or something like that in his hand.Someone told my dad that he did that beacause he lost his job and flip out.
I want to go to the police but it's the first time that something like that happened to me,I don't know what to say,if they're going to believe me since I'm didn't saw it myself,or if they their going to take me seriusly and do something.
I didn't expect something like that effect me but only thinking about the poor dog make me feel bad and heart broken.

Please call someone. That dog is just going to beaten again some day. Call the police or animal control. No animal deserves to be beaten.

I see you live in Greece. Is there something like SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in your area? Or another group that protects abused animals? If so, call them and report what you saw/heard. They may or may not do anything, but you will have done what you can to protect the dog.
