I am surprised and very relieved to find this forum! I recently, 3 days ago, lost my sweet friend, a little parrot. She was 26 years old. The sadness is heavy but I am trying to celebrate her life instead of hiding from the memories. Anyone else lose a bird who might want to chat?
I had to sign the paper to end her life. I've been on another forum devoted to bird keeping and it sure has helped. I am here to get some advice on dealing with people related things, relationships.
I think this forum will help a lot and in turn I hope I can help others.

I'm sorry for your loss. My daughter just lost a 35 year old parrot that she inherited from my parents. She was heart broken, but is beginning to be able to look back at the good memories.
