When my dog goes walking in the forest, the smells drive her crazy, and she starts foaming. Always has. The foam drips over her upper fangs, and she looks utterly ridiculous:

Well, my dog does lick the air whenever I rub her tail base. I don't really know why she reacts like that.

Oh where to begin?????
My chickens will get excited and run along the side of their coop when I pull weeds in the yard. They want me to give them some of the weeds to eat. Mikey and Ollie (cats) both love to chase paper balls. Both will fetch the ball, bringing it to me to throw again. BG (dog) will grab a mouthful of his food, carry it outside the room the food is in, spit it out and eat it off the floor. All of my cats like what I call Sunday snuggles. Sunday is my day to sleep in. They come and pile on me in bed looking for scratches and cuddling. Kieran (horse) will follow me around the yard like a dog when he wants attention. |

I once had a Golden Retriever who liked bananas. She would lay down, get the banana standing up between her 2 front paws and "peel" it with her teeth and eat it. I wish I had a picture to prove it but suffice to say that many people saw her do it because I showed off her skill whenever I had a chance!

My cat has no sense of balance. She has fallen just stepping from the chair to the couch, which is within reach! She has fallen just trying to jump from the floor onto the couch! I can't tell you how many times I have saved her from hitting the floor.
My daughter says that this has to do with her breed. She read that ragdoll cats are "floor cats" LOL. |

my dog (a dachshund/chihuahua mix) sometimes thinks she's a cat i guess. she likes to sit in windows and on the arms of our couch. she's also incredibly jealous -- if we run into other dogs in the neighborhood and i get down to pet them, she butts herself in between us and starts licking my face, or sometimes gets in the other dog's face like BACK OFF THAT'S MY PERSON !!!

We have one chihuahua that smiles whenever you talk sweet to him. He also tilts his head from side to side when you ask him a question. Another one we had walked on her hind legs whenever we had food and she wanted some. It was like she was dancing. She passed away some years ago, though. We have another one who is very sweet, but she is an excessive barker. One like no other I’ve ever seen. What’s funny about it is that when we got her she was too shy to bark for three straight days. We thought she was mute or something, but now it is quite the opposite...

My pet turtle loves to stay near my laptop's fan holes. She enjoys the heat generated by the fan. She tries to climb the laptop's heated area, but I never let her.

My dog barks at bacon. I found it funny that she actually barked at a commercial once because it was introducing a new kind of burger at Burger King. The minute she saw the bacon, she went nuts. Dogs are very very smart.

We have visitors in the back yard, including all sorts of birds, chipmunks, squirrels, stray cats, and raccoons.
My cat cannot cope with the visiting cats. She is mildly inflamed by raccoons, but the cats, oh no. If she sees one, she goes barreling at the sliding glass door and hits it with the full weight of her 16-pound body while punching the glass with her paws. She is ready to KILL. It's pretty loud, and we make jokes about her shattering the glass. She can't shatter the glass. I think. Actually, I'd better google that. |

My daughter finally saw the cat do this. Ginger likes to wake me up at 4:00a.m. by mewing, right in my face.
This time, I was napping. My daughter said she got right up in my face, and put her whole body into it, mewing just as loud as she possibly could. So rude!! |

My cat really likes bread-ties. She finds them under things and brings them to me so we can play fetch with them. She also really likes to sit in plastic grocery bags, and if you pick up the bag while she's in it, she doesn't care.

Hi, one of my three cats, Elvira, thinks she’s a dog. She meows when I say “speak”...she heals (walks right beside me no matter how many turns I take), she fetches toys and brings them back to me to toss again. When I say “sick em” she runs to the windows with her ears back, and her serious face looking for strangers. She’s something else. I rescued her from a kill shelter 12 years ago....she’s the love of my life. My BFF!
How do you post photos? I tried the link above my message box, nothing happens. Am I too new to post photos? Thanks. __________________ NVKitty |

My dog eats any fuzzy or lint ball on the floor. And he likes to hump any dog at the dog park no matter the size. He is 7 pounds and I have seen him with a great dane.
