What's your favorite animal? Mine would be a tie between a dog, a cat, and a African blue macaw.

Rats are my favorite pet and I currently have five of them. They cheer me up when I'm really depressed.

I would like a medium to large dog who has a stocky build and square jaw and a good demeanour. It would be a rescue dog and would live on my farm and it would know to stay on the farm and not wander onto other properties.

I love most all critters, but have a special soft spot for cats.

We have a catahula and they work well being outside. Ours is deaf but knows his boundaries as we have had him since he was about 8 weeks old and used to have a trainer collar on him that gave him a little vibrate when he went too far but we have since took it off once he was able to understand the boundaries. Catahula and guardian dogs would probably be best for that
