Not the one we thought was missing. But the much older one. He’s shutting down and we’re taking him to the vet on Friday. He’s pretty much just been lying under the table and not letting us pet him. It makes me sad but I don’t want him to suffer. Hopefully he just needs some medicine though.

The vet says he has an eye infection in both eyes and an ear infection in both ears. She gave us some medicine for us. She also gave us some gapebetine or something ,I think it’s used in humans too. It’s a sedating medication so we can get the medicine to him if he won’t let us.

Now my 1 year old cat isn’t doing good. And this seems much more serious. He’s not eating or cleaning himself very well. He’s just lying around and not like himself at all. The cat we had to put to sleep in November had the exact same symptoms and I think this cat might have the same disease. I’m very frustrated with this rescue. Not to mention I loved this cat more than anything. I’m taking him to the vet tomorrow and I have one care card that my mom also uses and I have about $800 on it now and she’s going to put a $1300 root canal on it tomorrow too. Everything is just frustrating.

We got some medicine for him and my other 2 cats since they of course have the mites he transferred to them. Hopefully that helps. Basically the rescue gave me a sick cat and didn’t tell me about his health issues and my vet is pissed and wants me to complain.

Sorry your cat has health issues. I've dealt with that. It can get expensive.
