When I first brought my cat home, she tore a hole in a bag of buns and ate a big chunk out of the bread. So I started putting the buns in the fridge. A few times I didn't put my groceries away fast enough. She has a keen sense of smell. She got the buns right away. She cracks me up. I don't know that bread is good for a cat. At least it's whole wheat. Lol!

Cats can be very strange

But do watch her for other signs of diabetes. Our diabetic cat had a fixation with bread and cereal and other carby things before her diagnosis and treatment.

Thanks! Yea, I'll keep an eye on her. She had a check up about 4 months ago. Doesn't really eat a lot. She likes her wet food and will nibble on her dry. When I first got her, she wanted to eat my food. But she doesn't do that anymore, thank goodness.

My Abby loves bread too. No signs on diabetes. She just loves bread.
