Dog is apparently first in U.S. to test positive for the coronavirus
Can they pass it on, though? I guess so. |

My wife said she read, in the newspaper, the CDC is now recommending dogs be kept at least 6 feet apart. Personally I've never seen a dog with 6 feet. But whatever...

I saw a youtube video of a two headed 8 legged dog trying to walk in two different directions but maybe that was something else...

I am really wondering if my ponies can get it from being exposed to people.

OE, I've wondered about the horses too. Given the difference in human vs. horse size I'd think we'd have to blow up into there nose. In an abundance of caution I'm not blowing in their noses right now.
For the non-horse people in the crowd, horses blow in one another's noses to say hello. People can do the same with them as an introduction or sign of affection. |

Hmmmm, isn't corona one of the immunizations that dogs have always gotten as puppies?....at least I think I remember that from my first puppy in 1995 & then in my breeding & showing. I quit vaccinating my dogs when we moved to the country & they were in the house or with me all the time __________________ Leo's favorite place was in the passenger seat of my truck. Yes, corona is a category of different viruses, from what I understand.
I don't think I'll blow into any critters' or humans' noses anytime soon. I have done ears with my husband, though. |

Mikey (cat) snagged a claw in the front of my shirt this morning and pulled me down so we could bump noses. He is a Momma's boy and wants his loving.
In an abundance of caution I'm not blowing in the horses noses. Kieran thinks I'm a poohead because I won't blow in his nose when he shuffles me. Eskie, I wouldn't want to blow in your mare's nose either Ew!!! |
