Our beloved Schnoodle is, we think, around 16 years old. So that must mean he's ancient in people years! I didn't understand what "the natural log of a number" meant. I searched it on the internet. But even after reading the explanations I found, I still didn't understand it. Oh well... math never was my long suit, as we used to say. Thanks for posting this!

I don't know if I believe that story. I had a dog as a kid who lived to 11, our years, and he still was pretty spry - your telling me he was 330 years old?

Actually fyi I heard there is a clinical trial going on right now trying to figure out how to make dogs live longer.

I don't think you're interpreting that info correctly. Of course, that's not true,.I'm glad to hear that research is being done to see how to increase their ages--I hope without all the issues of old age, though.
