Hi, Travelinglady! Thank you for the link to the article. That is very interesting. Would you consider getting a pig? I need to think about this.

Wondering if there is such a thing as a micro pig. The more they eat the bigger they grow.

The title of your thread made me think of this comedy skit:

Funny account!
No, I don't plan on getting a pig. I have two cats and a dog and that's enough. |

No, to me pigs belong in a barn. In a house reminds me too much of Animal Farm by Orwell.

How about Arnold on "Green Acres"? They kept having to get a new pig because the old one got too big. But it could do tricks!
And I hear they're very clean if you keep them away from mud! You'd think they could grow a mini pig. I've never known anyone to have a pet pig. |

This talk of pigs reminds me of something that happened to me at work.
Pre-Covid we did home visits to see clients. As I entered the client's house the father said "Don't pet the pig. He bites." My thought was "That's not gonna be a problem!" At one point the piglet came over to check me out. Gotta say he was cute. He was a young mini-potbelly. At the time he was a bit bigger than a hamster. Cute or not, I'd just as soon not have a pig in my house. |
