I think my male cat cries when he's bored or wants attention. I started opening my dryer for him. He likes it in there with all the soft clothes. He will crawl in and sleep for a few hours. That's what I've been doing when he cries. My other cat seems to cry when she wants food. Overall, they seem to be doing well. My male cat has been real lovey lately. When I go to take a nap or when I go to bed, he will lay on my chest and let my cuddle with him. It's very soothing. And then my female cat will be curled up at my feel. They are the best! Who needs a partner?

My cats have kept me busy. I took Nyke to the vet a couple of weeks ago. He's fine. He was crying a lot and then I put a Feliway diffuser in a socket. He's better now. The vet had suggested Gabapentin for him every day. But I didn't want that. And Jazzy is good. She just went to the vet as well. Her problem was swollen **** glands. She's much better now. They patched her up and recommended I give her Miralax.

My guy was very good today about getting his nails clipped. They were way over due. But I had misplaced the clippers. He didn’t even want any treats instead he wanted to cuddle 🥰 I think he felt bad that this morning he accidentally drew blood. His nails were so long he couldn’t retract them all the way. He was just asking to play.

Daisy is sleeping in the back bedroom. She is extremely anti-social. She likes Serena, they watch tv together, hates me, except when it's feeding time.. She's getting old for a cat. I think she's about 12.She sits on the back of the couch and watches the birds when we're not around. (It's funny, because she's not allowed there) She's also always sitting there when we come home from somewhere.

I just want all of you to know how much I appreciate your sharing your experiences & observations re: your pets. I'm not ready yet to adopt one again, but I look forward to it. They are so precious, aren't they.

B Dawn, I took a long time before adopting my sweetheart. I volunteered at a sheltered for a long time. Then after a couple of years I found him, or he found me. I just knew. I volunteered all over, cats and dogs but mostly the icu where I used a nebulizer for sick cats, kittens and puppies. My guy was a repeat guest. This was his 5th time at the shelter and he was sick but so sweet. His owner gave him up and he was 6 yrs old. Older pets don’t get adopted as quickly but I swooped him up. I have no idea how he ended up in the shelter so many times cause he never goes outside. He’s been with me now for almost 10 years. He still acts like a kitten. So waiting until your ready is a great idea, it will work out when the time is right.

My cats are well this morning. I'm putting the Miralax in both meals I give to Jazzy. That way she gets a full dose. She only eats half of her food. And I put some in the bowl I serve Nyke. Cause she eats some of that. I figure extra fiber won't hurt him. I'll keep an eye on them. They both eat each other's food. It's difficult to have separate food. They even share the W/D Hills Science Diet dry food. Jazzy has had an easier time going to the litter box these past two days. So I must be doing something right.

My son asked me to take one of his dogs today. He says his neighbors are complaining about the dog. I hated telling him no, I like the dog. Gemini (the dog) is pretty, and we are good friends. Gemini has also bitten several people, to the point that there was blood involved. He's not the kind of dog I would be drawn too if I was considering a pet.

My cat, Daisy would hate him as well.

Daisy, the owner of our home, is in the bedroom asleep, as usual.

Hubby got one of our cats, Caroline, to the vet today. He couldn't catch Sammy, the one you had the appointment today, Maybe I can help get him to the vet tomorrow, for Caroline's original appointment.

Caroline weighs the same as last year, even though we leave food out for her all the time.

I'm really noticing how cats learn words, just like dogs do. For example, when I say "water," Caroline looks at her water dish or even goes to it.

Yeah Sir knows Squirrel, birdy and bunny. When ever I see one I say the word and he comes running to look out the window.

I had the best time with Jazzy this morning. I put the Happy Cat movie on my computer. She was fascinated with the animal sounds. She would go to each speaker looking for the birds. She watched the screen as toy mice and balls danced across. She perked up when they had cats purring. It was amazing. She was completely into it for a good 20 minutes. I got tired and went back to bed but I restarted the movie for her. I am happy that she is happy.

My cats are good this morning. The curtains are open and they're watching the morning start. People are on their way to work. My cats ate late last night. They don't seem to be hungry now. For some reason, when I put wet food down, they don't eat much. I've been putting more of the dry food down, so I guess they are filling up. They're both really chill this morning. It's nice.

My two cats are finally chilling out. They both cried some today. I think Jazzy is still having some issues with constipation and Nyke is just hungry all the time. They keep me busy.

Pup has been good though I am highly suspect that she picked up a cold (eye cold) from the dog park. We hadn't been going lately for various reasons and the day after the park her eye has been irritated with gunk in it,and has continued to have gunk and be irritated.
I've been watching it and wiping carefully only as needed, it hasn't been a full week yet and keep reminding myself to not freak out. My friend/roommate also has been checking her out for a second opinion. If it doesn't clear up by Monday we'll go to the vet.

Besides that she has been good, wants to play and apatite, etc.

Cats have been good too. Mine is himself and lazy like usual.

Roommate cat is now fixed and she lets me pet her more and she is out more with "the pack" more too

Last night when we opened 🎁 Sir was there monitoring. He greatly approved the lavender stress play doh. And was quite excited about my new purse, both had interesting smells. He thought the lavender lotion was a might too strong though. And had no opinion on the rest.
