So, my 6-monther is not really eating for the last day. I live alone, but do not know anything or what to do. We have this thing in pediatrics called the sick child, where, after all the tests and scans and stuff, you sre sposed to just kinda look at the kid and ask yourself--is this child, like, sick, or not? A gestalty thing. When I do that with Albert, he is not super sick. But, less active for sure and not drinking or eating as much.
He had initial vaccinations and everything, but I am sure still needs to finish some. Thoughts? __________________ When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot, but I always found them--Rodney Dangerfield |

One more thing. He has fresh food. Just walked over to the food bag and tried to climb in. Picked him up and put him at his bowl and he ate a bit. Not a lot. Does not appear ill. Thanks so much!

Terry, from past posts he's a cat.
Bpcyclist, if he is still not eating or drinking tomorrow I would call the vet. |

One eye is much larger than the other. He is sometimes anxious for no reason. Freaks out. Not totally sold on his vision. Could he b developmentally delayed, with a mood disorder maybe or something? __________________ When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot, but I always found them--Rodney Dangerfield |

Have his eyes always been different sizes? As for DD or mood disorder, they each have their own personality, just like us. Are these changes in behavior or has he always been this way?
Cats are both predators and prey. As prey they do not tend to show signs of illness since that's an invite for something to come eat them. I'd get him checked out if he continues to not eat. |

He's probably not eating because he is stressed about his environment, he doesn't like his food, he is allergic to his food, or he has a kidney stone or some other health condition. So, it could be behavioral or medical. I saw your post about his messy litterbox. That could be contributing to his not eating. If you don't clean his litterbox regularly enough, that will stress him out. Also, buy litterbox liners. That will make cleaning it so much easier for you. And Albert will not make such a mess. Also, buy a pad to put underneath the litterbox to catch all of that litter. There are also litterboxes with high sides, so that Albert won't be able to kick litter everywhere. He may even prefer a litterbox that is enclosed. Talk to his vet and see what the vet suggests.

Hi cyclist, Albert may enjoy kitten milk, which can be found in any pet store. It's a wonderful appetite simulator and nourishment provider for cats of all ages, but especially kittens and seniors.
By eyes, do you mean eyelid or pupils? Eyelid would likely be an infection, or even a bite. Differing pupil size...that, my friend, is not usually a good sign. It seems that a vet visit is in order __________________ |
