And I feel freer.

I would weigh myself daily. It was torture. Just walking into the bathroom and seeing it was a reminder of what a failure I was.

I would feel so worthless after bingeing all day that I would follow it with 4 days of fasting.

I'm getting tired of being so harsh with myself.

No more dieting. I'm DONE.

Good for you! Not sure about you, but my weight can fluctuate up to 5 pounds depending on the day and the reason, so weighing myself every single day would just be torturous.

Best wishes to you in your new healthy lifestyle!

The relentless obsession with the scales can be so hard to break, so I salute you. I was going to do the same but it was the wrong bin day(!)... now I feel the compulsion creeping back, along with the self loathing.

My friend recently had this to say regarding scales "they can't tell you anything about who you are". That is so true.
