Hi everyone! Need your advice...
I am recovering from binge eating and while my binges have stopped, I regularly overeat. At the same time, I am underweight! I feel a certain pride about it, however I would like to gain weight. Finding it difficult to know how much to eat... when I was binge eating before, I felt stuffed; now when I overeat I just end up feeling [comfortably] full but psychologically guilty - because I overeat in secret.

That being said, overeating diminishes when I travel and am in a new environement - which happened a lot last year. But now I am living with my family (after being away for 8 years!) and most of them overeat. I also ask them not to buy certain foods that make me uncomfortable but... reasonably, they choose to stick to their lifestyle, to what they are used to and I find myself being influenced by that :\
Is it worth making a meal plan and sticking to it in this situation? Are meal plans adviced at all? I don't want to become more obsessed about food consumption..

It may be a good idea and you could try it for awhile and see how it goes. Have you ever gone to see a dietitian for meal plan advice and it may be helpful especially since you are underweight. Good luck and hope you are on the way to happy and healthy eating!
