Hi,
Just starting here and hoping to find some support to treat my binge eating. I’ve never taken care of myself, I’ve never had a regular schedule. When I was younger I lived on potato chips and booze. Now it’s fried chicken and chocolate. The worst is that as I eat I imagine how I’ll stop doing it tomorrow and start dieting. Of course this is not what happens. The afternoon sugar gorging is what finally drove me here. The extra weight I’ve carried for the last 15 years, after having my kids, was brought on by some serious mental health issues. Originally weighing more, I lost some weight on keto but who can live like that? I felt like my tongue was covered in fat 24/7. I’ve been in therapy now for quite awhile so the issues are improving but I want to create a new life as I peel away the old. Anyways although I’ve known for quite sometime that this wasn’t just lack of will power I’ve never publicly admitted I have a problem. I haven’t even been open about it with my therapist. So here goes. I’m hoping this forum can help me find a way to take better care of myself, to actually care about myself, and stop the binges! Thanks for reading if you got this far!
