Need Advice!
Went out of town on business and found that I could not communicate home. Things are missing from house and no one here. Went to wifes place of employment and was angrily asked by 2 people who came outside to speak with me if I was there to cause trouble???What does this sound like to you???
Her meds were recently changed, was on Latuda, which worked super, but insurance said too expensive so they put her on Geodon, which she had before. In retrospect I now see signs of unraveling but didn't connect the dots. We have had no communication at all! Pretty weird! I don't know what to do but I will add that I have been thru it all with her. suggestions, comments,. questions??????

Hello ricky: Thank you for sharing your concern here on PC. I don't think there is anything in particular I can offer with regard to it. However I see this is your first post. So... welcome to Psych Central.

One additional forum, here on PC, that may be of interest to you would be the relationships & communication forum. Here's a link:

And then here are links to 3 articles, from Psych Central's archives, that offer suggestions for supporting a spouse or other loved one who has a mental illness:

15 Ways To Support a Loved One with Serious Mental Illness

10 Tips for Supporting Your Spouse During Mental Illness

When Mental Illness Strikes: Tips for Couples

I hope you find PC to be of benefit.

Welcome to Psych Central, ricky44! Sounds to me like she's run away. Has she done that before?
