This friend of mine is always throwing good things away for some reason. I end up finding them in the trash can.

Well...I don't know if throwing good things away has anything in particular to do with bipolar disorder. And I've never actually been diagnosed as having bipolar disorder, although one psychiatrist I saw suggested there might be a "bipolar element" to what was going on with me. I think if I were to be diagnosed as having bipolar disorder it would be bipolar 2. And I think that would probably make sense.
One of the characteristics of BP2 is, I believe, anger which is something I have a lot of. And when I get P.O.'ed about something I have a tendency to want to throw the baby out with the bathwater so to speak. I want to (& occasionally do) toss anything & everything in the trash. I don't know if it's a bipolar thing or just angry impulsiveness. But that's been my experience, for what it's worth. __________________ "I may be older but I am not wise / I'm still a child's grown-up disguise / and I never can tell you what you want to know / You will find out as you go." She 's done some things in the past that she went to jail over like pulling a steak knife on me thinking I was moving another woman in the house to replace her. This happened over a year ago. I removed all the sharp things in the house and got pepper spray in case she does it again. I have no fear in her because she is taking her new pills. She also goes to a new mental doctor Called Lifecare.
