She has shakes on her right side of her body all the time. Her leg and arm is shaking all the time. At first we thought it was a stroke now we know it's her drug called Latuda.

This is really something she needs to discuss with whoever prescribed the Latuda as well as, perhaps, other medical professionals as well. Hopefully she has. If this really is a side effect of Latuda, it may be necessary for her to try a different medication. The types of things you describe can become irreversible if they are left to continue for an extended period of time.

I agree with @Skeezyks Please have this person talk to her doctor about it.

I am not sure I buy that shaking can be controlled with the mind.

Personally I wouldn't place any stock in what this 18 year old boy told you. (I used to be one way back when.) What your friend is experiencing is something that needs to be evaluated by the relevant professionals.

She will not be taking this drug in future because her insurance company UMR will not pay all of cost for this drug she has found out by her medicare agent. They want her to pay 300 dollars out of her pocket. So now she needs to find another one like Latuda if anys out there? She taken alot of diffrent drugs in the past for Bi-polar and Latuda was only one that worked.

She also has stage three kidney damage she sees a doctor for.

Thanks for the help.

She's going to have to talk to her dr. A lot of bipolar people need more then one drug.

Have you checked out the bipolar section on this forum? You could ask about medications there and likely get a lot of suggestions. But ultimately your friend will have to find one that works for her.
All th best!
