Can any one here help to how to help a family member with victim panic disorder?

Her symptoms are always feeling somebody is going to hurt her and her husband is betraying her all the time. Of course she often lost her temper and making people very difficult to talk and live with her. She hit her husband few days ago and now in hospital for forced mental treatment. If she discharge from hospital, what does the family member need to know to dealing with her? And how to help her to recover?

Thank you very much.

Hello mklc: I see this is your first post here on PC. Welcome to Psych Central.

We here on PC cannot offer mental health advise. Most of us are consumers of mental health services. Our purpose is to provide one another with support & to exchange information & experiences. However here are links to 5 articles, from Psych Central's archives, that (hopefully) may be of some help:

Medication plays a huge role in recovery IMO. This article discusses effexor for panic disorder but do not get hung up on effexor being the only option or best option I just thought it was a good general article.

Venlafaxine extended release (XR) in the treatment of panic disorder
