I love the Mayo Clinic and National Library of Medicine (down the block from NIH in Bethesda, MD where I grew up) for learning about my health problems:

The following site has been developed by consumers in order to provide information about DBT (Dialectical Behavioural Therapy developed by Marsha Linehan). It is a terrific resource for people wanting to know more about DBT and many of the homework worksheets are provided online. I think that parts of the site are still under development:

http://www.dbtselfhelp.com/

The following is a consumer site that is run and maintained by a lady with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. She writes extensively on her experiences with the disorder and her experiences in therapy. Both from an 'objective' and 'subjective' point of view. Some of her writing has brought tears to my eyes and really helped me feel understood. Some of her writing has helped me better understand the nature of borderline personality disorder (from a charitable perspective):

She also has similar pages on other disorders if you hunt around the site a bit. Here is a kind of an index:

Default Great site - languange of integrity - dealing with sociopath

I came across this site and found it helpful, and encouraging. Seems my situation is not all tha bad as it sounded from every other .. I beleive a person can want to change and fill that void with love, if power is not doing it.

This website looks at the psychodynamic understanding of the schizoid disorder and encourages recovery:
