I’m just curious what it was like. I’ll be doing it in the next few weeks.

I haven't done it. But here's a link to an article on it in PsychCentral's archives:

it has over 150-200 questions to take this version you must have at least a 5th grade reading level and an adult level of logic and understanding of your self and your problems as the questions are using vocabulary 5th grade up to adult level and are in the true and false format. most people this one test takes about a half hour. if this is for actual mental disorder diagnosis there will be other tests you will need to take. this test is not used alone for diagnostics. alone it can just tell you how much you know about yourself, whether you are a shy or happy person, what your likes and dislikes are, and how you are in social or solo situations, .... there are also many different scoring scales built into the questions.... personality patterns, clinical, validity (how many times you hesitate, change answers, leave answers blank, inconsistancies in answers, facet scales that show your mood changes while testing, ) and much more. on your end its pretty easy do you like this or that, have you ever this or that, you never this or you always that or you sometimes this... and all you need to do is mark true or false. the computer scoring system does the rest by digitally matching which questions belong in which grouping they are purposely randomized order on the test so that test takers can not find any patterns and purposely manipulate the test results. and the score are individualized the test is all about you answering questions about you and your own daily life and daily thoughts, moods, behaviors. theres no cramming for this test.... example question... I always have milk with breakfast my answer true someone else answer may be false. there is no right or wrong way to answer. the computer will take all your answers about your life and tell you more about you. what you are like introverted (shy) or extroverted (outgoing not shy) thats what its like. I just completed mine real easy. mine said I am extroverted, have no problems with test taking, and generally a well rounded person who enjoy participating in social activities and staying home with my children wife. |
