Hello fellow PTSD survivors! I am new to Psych Central and currently working on my five posts for the moderators to check before I go live with chats etc
I was diagnosed with PTSD about 5 years ago but was also told that it likely started in childhood. I put a great deal of energy into being positive but I'm sure you understand that there are times when that is quite a challenge!
I would like to begin here by telling you all a few important things:
- It is not your fault!

- I am sorry that you experienced intense trauma.

- I am proud that you are a survivor!

- It is brave and admirable that you are acknowledging/exploring your PTSD and reaching out to others.

- I wish you PEACE!

And most importantly, here's a non-threatening from a safe electronic distance. May it bring you a smile or a moment of comfort!
