How do you deal with it when an online person, possibly a narcissist, is intentionally and successfully trying to trigger and hurt you. This has happened to me before on another forum. I am not a mean person but I do get triggered by people who I think are trying to intentionally harm me. Possibly I need “medication”

But I’m allergic to medication

I might have to take a short break from pc and leave the other forum (not pc) where I’m being harassed

I’m not “coping well with life”

I’m “a failure”

Not about anyone on pc

My personal opinion is you can't win with an internet troll. The best thing to do, in my opinion, is to simply block them in whatever way you can & move on.

My short answer to your query is: Disengage!

You are a good person, Fuzzy.
I endorse what the Skeezyks advised above.

Whoever they are, they are not worth your attention. Take what break you need and, remember, we who know you for years love you.

I have to agree with both Skeezyks and Rose76 - disengage from them entirely, if their behavior is having this much of an impact on you it isn't worth it.

There are indeed some narcissists and trolls on forums. I have also experienced this and I have had to set boundaries. Please do this for yourself FuzzyBear.

Also - do not believe the lies. You are an amazing person through and through. There is not a single time I have EVER found you to be even remotely rude. Please know that you are a good person. And if you were to get angry or be rude - you are still a good person because you are entitled to your emotions and you have every right to be upset! Being rude would not make you a bad person. Everyone has angry days.

My teddy bears send hugs.

Be gentle to yourself.

Thanks,
HD7970ghz
