Re: How honest to be with T? Appointment in 30min

Real proud of you Muddy, honestly. Yes, one day at a time. Yes, leave the therapy goals for when you're ready to discuss, but have them ready because in my view, knowing what you want them to help...

Doing pretty good. Taking it easy. Good all the windows open too. I’m in T-shirt and shorts. In a couple hours I have art class. Looking forward to that.

Amazing year, first Total eclipse & now spacticular northern lights

What a year for amazing experiences. I was in Alaska in 1999 & no Northern lights in September. That has always been on my bucket list to see. Well last night & tonight the northern lights have...

Re: Why does my husband accuse me of complaining whenever I express any opinion?

Exactly what I was thinking, word for word on the "walking on eggshells" part. My kinda roommate's bf is like that, and I'm trying to get her to leave him because I see it's just not right. He even...

Re: Healing from past trauma...

Trauma is tough. Don't feel bad about still having trouble with it so much after it happened. It really doesn't go away on its own because, especially if it happens as a child, it gets engrained in...

Re: Bipolar Check-in #79

Pantoprazole can definitely cause vomiting.

Glad the Ensure is helping, that stuff is pretty good for providing nutrients you have trouble getting through food. I pretty much lived off of those...

Re: Would it bother you

My curiosity about my past T would have lapped that info up... Would have been beneficial to my Therapy? I doubt it.. Curiosity doesn't equal healing.. But I wouldn't have at that point the ability...

Re: Why do some guys think it is acceptable to call women b****es and justify it?

I think a lot of guys who resort to such demeaning talk are essentially carrying the misogynistic character trait. Question them further about their opinions on women and it will all come out. These...

Re: Random thoughts thread #2

Hi there! Oh it was sweetened well enough but still tasted like something made from mummified horse poo and old bird's nests. It was loose stuff from the bulk store. The 'real deal' I guess? It did...

Re: Acceptance - How to Cut the Cord When You're Addicted

Re: I think I know why I admired the teacher

It doesn't matter how I feel anymore. I just want to move on with my life and forget everything in my past and just be free to be happy.

Re: Why do some guys think it is acceptable to call women b****es and justify it?

Men have to call out other men for that behaviour

I was in a meeting a few years back and a guy on our team called a woman in another department “that B”

In front of all the guys I said “Not...

Re: Couch 248: Curiouser and Curiouser

We drove over to the coast today, to the uppermost corner of Oregon, walked out on a jetty not far from where the Columbia river enters the ocean. And we saw whales! 3 of them. The closest any of...

Re: Why does my husband accuse me of complaining whenever I express any opinion?

If my husband started using bad cologne all of a sudden, I’d certainly let him know. I don’t want my husband to embarrass himself smelling bad. Just something in the wording appeared to be bothersome...
