Thank you for this! I should have checked out these boards months ago. We moved to a new city a couple years ago and we just haven't made many friends - all our friends are 2 hours away in our hometown. PPD is different from regular depression, at least it has been for me, because while I have this deep depression, my baby has made me the happiest person in the world. I think only someone who has gone through this can understand how that's possible. Despite the PPD or general depression or whatever the heck my current state would be labeled as, I'm confident that I'm a good mom, which is cool because I have just about zero confidence in every other aspect of my life (I'm working on that... for many years... progress is slow, but there is progress...) Anyway - thank you!! Mamas are the toughest people on the planet!
