I know that restlessness/inability to sit still is a side effect of sertraline. It's listed on the NHS website as a "serious side effect", one you should tell your doctor about. Does anyone here know what makes it so serious? What does it signify? Is it still serious if it only comes in bouts, not all the time?

Thanks all

If it's as serious as akathisia I'd stay away, personally. I was on 100 mg for 6 mths with no side effects and no response so I switched to Prozac.
